our bartender was suuper friendly, even when ordered like 15 tequila shots all at once and then made her put 2 on one card, 2 on another card, 1 in cash, another 2 in cash... you get the idea! only thing was after the 4th shot or so, i swear she gave us back the plate with our already sucked lemons and limes... that's pretty fucking gross, but i was a little drunk by that point so i'm going to reserve judgement, since it might have just been me being silly.
it's a little small here, so our big group had trouble all smushing into our nook together, but it was bearable. i'd come back, but maybe not for after uni drinks since it's a little small and a little loud and i'm loyal to our traditional place. still a fun place though and 3 pound tequila shots/5 pound minimum on card make it much koooler in my book -

This bar gets rather crowded, or some would like to say, 'cosy', during happy hours and on Fridays. Not really a big bar for huge groups to hang out at, I would even say it got a little squishy as the night came along. But anyway, the bar atmosphere isn't bad, although I feel like something is missing there
Been here a few times since drinks are fairly reasonably priced. There are large sofas and also a few bar tables near the entrance of the bar. Bar tenders are mostly friendly and patient with you order, as the bar area does get quite busy once the buzz gets going.
The several times I was there, the crowd mostly consisted of men in suits who just got off of work, ones who are ready to down themselves in a few bottles of alcohol before heading home. Not the youngest, most energetic crowd, but overall, the people are easy going so that's fine with me.

Cheap pints. Can't beat that. Really not much to add, this is not a dive as some have stated, it's just simply an inexpensive pub in an overpriced city.

A great little bar, surprisingly located just behind King's Cross mainline train station.
Comfortable sofas, a good selection of drinks and a friendly atmosphere. Not too crowded either. This really reminds me of some of the better bars in Shoreditch 5 or 10 years ago. Unfussy and just getting on with being a good place to meet for a drink.
King's Cross and Caledonian Road are surely on the up, and this place is proof.

This place is small and cosy. With large comfy sofas and a good selection of draught and bottled beers. It's perfect for whiling away an evening after work, striking a balance between it's more trendy neighbours (e.g. The Fellow) andsome of Kings Cross' more scuzzy bars.
There's also often live music from around 8 o'clock to pass the time with your cold Corona. If you're in the market for non-alcoholic they also serve coffees, teas etc.
Get in early to get a seat though!
